A Wish for Heath and Happiness

I read this morning that Rocco Baldelli has been given a career and possibly life threatening diagnosis. His body rejects healing after a strong workout. While most of us can go to the gym, walk a few blocks or play with the kids and be a little stiff and sore, Rocco's muscle tissues do not heal but continue to break down. This has been the cause of so many pulled hamies and quads that have plagued him throughout his career.
It is sad to see someone with so much talent for a game we love to not be able to give as much as he desires to give on the field because his body will not let him. It is not easy to learn that the pursuit of your happiness causes you harm. It happened to my baseball career and it seems Rocco's.
