I really do not remember much about Benzinger. So I do not feel right commenting on hi. So if anyone out there would like to fill me in. Feel free.

Benzinger came over from the Red Sox, and caught the last out of the 1990 World Series...a pop-up. He was a great TTM autographer back in the day; not sure if he still does that or not.
I'm pretty sure that's correct, but it's been 17 and a half years, so I might be mistaken. I'll try to find my "Wire to Wire" videotape sometime this week and watch it to be sure.
Yep, that's correct about the last out. It was a foul pop to the first base side. He grabbed it and leapt into the air in celebration. I got to talk with him for a bit at a Reds HOF thing a few years ago. He was super nice and more than happy to sign a card for me. Oh, and he actually let me check out his WS ring... handed it right to me. Pretty cool.
