Brads Random Milestone #1

Well its been about 20 years in the making but I finally hit the major milestone I've been attempting for a long time. 24, Griffey's initial jersey number. I can remember getting his 24th different card in 1991 at the age of 11. That was fun. Then when I hit 240 different cards I was stoked! I'd roughly estimate that happened in about 1995. So 13 years in the making I give you 2,400 different Ken Griffey Jr. cards. Here's a brief breakdown...

.
Well what more can I say then my next major milestone is right around the corner! I'm $128.80 away from hitting $10,000 listed on Beckett for different Griffey's. Man I love this hobby!

Congrats and keep on truckin, man. I hear you about the Superstar Sampler. I finally found one on ebay for Barry Larkin in 2006 and paid 38 in a bidding war. For 3 cards in a plastic wrapper.

Thanks all. Dayf - 1994 Topps released a 3 card sealed set of a single player in their Sealed Sets. You would get 1 of 80 players per set. Each 3 card set has that inparticular players 'Promotional Samples' of Bowman, Stadium Club, and Topps Finest in the pack. The front of the cards is identical to their standard cards however the back of the cards has a small 'Superstar Sampler' seal. Hope this helps! Aloha, Brad
